Chacewater Community Speedwatch

Chacewater Community Speedwatch is a volunteer-led road safety initiative working in partnership with Devon & Cornwall Police and Cornwall Council.

The team monitors vehicle speeds at authorised locations across the parish, including 20mph village zones and selected 40mph stretches. Vehicles exceeding the speed limit are reported through official Speedwatch procedures.

Operating regularly throughout the month, the group aims to improve road safety, reduce speeding, and encourage more considerate driving — particularly in residential areas affected by through-traffic.
